Ryker Romano
My fist contacts Viktor's jaw, making him step back. The monster didn't even flinch. His lips curled into a smirk.
"Ryker, my boy, Did your mama bully you again?" Viktor asked with humor in his tone. He is trying to get on my nerves, and damn, it worked. That bastard knows how to push my buttons. I kicked the side of his abdomen, which he blocked quickly. Grabbing his arm, I punched his jaw again. Viktor backed away, looking more amused. His jaw was bruised, but he didn't care.
"Your moves are as bland as your personality," Deniz said to me while rolling his eyes.
"You need someone to suck your tiny pipe. It will cool you off." Leon said, with an annoying grin. Deniz chuckled, giving Leon a high-five. They are both sitting on the nearby sofa, watching us since they are done with their match. We ended up at the gym.
"How about I kill you off? That will be pleasant enough for me to cool off." I retorted, taking the position again. Instead, Viktor rolled his eyes, joining Deniz and Leon, leaving me standing disappointed. I was not done yet.
"Good enough for me, but nah, I would rather die by Viktor's hand," Leon said with a grin and added. "At least I won't die by a loser."
"Dying by Viktor's hand—that's what losers do," I commented, joining them.
"What had gotten your pants on fire?" Viktor asked, giving me a serious look that indicated we needed to talk. I won't.
"Nothing happened," I replied.
Viktor leaned back on the sofa, gulping water. My thoughts wander to today's events in the morning. Dad called me into his office, looking calm and serious.
____
"I found a way to get rid of the war with Rhodes territory, and they agreed." He informed me.
I rolled my eyes. The hell they would. It must be one of their plans to get rid of me after they killed my brother.
"And you believe them?" I couldn't hide my disappointment.
"We signed a contract that includes no one dying anymore." He said. Leaning back he glanced at me.
"What does it have to do with me?"
"We made a marriage alliance to prevent war. You and Valeska Rhodes will be getting married once you guys turn eighteen." He explains.
I clenched my jaw in annoyance. Seriously, they had gone crazy. Not like there weren't before. They think it will work after all the deaths that occurred.
"And you think it will work. Bullshit." I said. Dad glared at me.
"You will do as I tell you to do. Listen, son-" He started, but I got up, leaving his office and slamming the door behind me. I don't take orders from anyone.
Valeska Rhodes is the woman I would rather kill with no mercy. If it weren't for Rhodes, I would have lived a normal life with my mother loving me. It doesn't matter; it's all in the past. When I made my way out, I bumped into my mother. She glared at the sight of me, and then she smiled.
"I heard about marriage. Do you know they made a one-year deal?" She said, Ignoring her, I walked away.
"For six months, you will be staying there, and then the girl will come back with you." She said, making me halt on my way. I glanced back with a blank face.
"What nonsense," I said.
"Do your brother a favor; don't come back alive. You don't deserve to live anyway." She chuckled like a maniac.
"Pray that I don't come alive, or else next time I will make your life a living hell," I said, making her flinch.
"You killed your brother, and now you want to kill me."
"I never killed him. We both know."
Not wanting to mess with the crazy woman, I left.

A slap on the back of my head made me come out of my thoughts. I glared at Leon, who smirked in response.
"Come back to hell. What were you thinking?" He asked. I shake my head, getting up. It's not like I can stop my dad, but I sure can prevent my marriage with Rhodes. Since I will be staying there, I have enough time to get rid of her. I don't need a weak and pathetic woman. The very next day, I told Dad to proceed with the marriage alliance. Dad was confused, but let it slide away. Dad gave me a picture of Valeska Rhodes.
Pretty black hair and chocolate brown eyes; smooth and white skin. She is fit and healthy. She is pretty, I won't lie.
In the end, I ended up in the Rhodes area to find out more about her. The more I know, the easier it will be to get rid of her. At night, I found her in a club with a girl older than her. My eyes were glued to Valeska Rhodes. She is wearing a tight black dress that reaches up to her thighs. She looks like a goddess. Words can't describe her. Her soft lips, pretty eyes, and voice are damn perfect.
I felt breathless as I gazed at her. She looks carefree and happy, unlike me. A thought came to my mind about how she will feel under me. Maybe I could fuck her at least once before getting rid of the whole problem. I shake my thoughts away, realizing what I just thought. I never thought that one day my body and mind would react to her in such a manner.
There's something wrong with me.
You know what it's Viktor and Deniz's fault.
Focus Ryker. Now is not the time for such nonsense. She is the enemy. An enemy that I need to get rid of.
Yet the urge to press her on my body didn't go away. I should leave before I do something I regret.
